House of Bren: {Beauty Bloom} Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion+

I kind of wish this bottle would have been in one of those pretty vintage Clinique bottles from the 80s I so vividly remember. The contents of the new Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion+ beget a classic, solidly reliable package. The brands reformulated lotion is causing major waves in the beauty industry with major enhancements which have been in the works for 6.5 years. It’s the ultimate black of all LBDs.

The traditional and 1st ever developed moisturizer in the US, Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion we all know and love for its daily effectiveness has seen a serious facelift for Fall 2013 we all will be scramming to get our hands on.

The difference between the classic formula and this + one? The new one is an ideal option for drier skin or those like myself that experience combination every now and then. It has added droppings of essential oil so it allows the other properties to really penetrate the pores and hydrate moisture-lacking surfaces. Equally important is the visible improvement after 8 weeks of consistent use.

I’ve been traveling a lot, especially in really hot atmospheres, and while humid temperatures usually offer natural hydration, the new lotion is good option to protect from those environmental factors which overtime deteriorate our lovely skin. When looking to settle on something that really treats my skin well, I look at the chemical studies done and what real impact it has based on study and testing.

New ingredients such as sunflower seed cake (I’m wondering if the massive and absolutely stunning fields of sunflowers I saw just last week have anything to do with dealing with the super intense hotter than hot summers they suffer — is there some secret in sunflower seeds we need to look into!?!), barley and cucumber extracts are infused to the formula to help strengthen our outer shell. The point is to create a barrier that protects our skin from damaging variables. Without a strong barrier, the best moisturizer can’t do its job, says Janet Pardo, global VP of prod development. Lack of sleep, stress, water dehydration and other lifestyle factors all effect the way our skin looks and feels. We have to start somewhere. At minimum, a tried and true moisturizer.
