Sexy Shoe Sunday: Alexandre Birman Skins

I took a much-needed break from this weekend series. I was buying way too many shoes for no reason and using this Sunday post as the license for every swipe. It felt good but I wasn’t rationalizing the purchases. But who cares, really! A sexy shoe find is always acceptable. I just needed to find a doable balance of seeing amazing shoes online and on my foot while diligently avoiding the default urge to splurge. I’m there. I’m so there! I now feel completely comfortable in bringing back this series and indulging in all the shoes that make life beautiful, chic, and sexy.  If not for me, but for you to be inspired to seek out the sexiest in shoe from trendy, to classy, and all around fabulous for every occasion.

Let’s talk about these. Everything about them says perfection. Great color. Great contrast. Amazing texture combo, because really doesn’t love skin texture, (even if it’s faux), especially if it’s python. And that height. They’re sexy. Everything I need in a shoe.

Summer’s only got a few weeks of life (here on the East coast) but we can still enjoy these. Plus, for all the amazing off-season travel we could find ourselves doing, these would be sure to make it to the suitcase.

From $995 to $350 on Gilt, I think they’re worth the splurge. Some shoes deserve being on your feet.
