My friends! How was your weekend?! Any fun cooking? I laid low and hung out with my nephew… Did a lot of dancing on the Xbox to burn off the pumpkin flan, apple pie, banana bread, and mac and cheese I’ve made twice and devoured between Thanksgiving and yesterday. I really need to share that recipe with you! I’m not a fan of that all American dish, but I have to say it turned out pretty epic. It felt good sweating off all those delicious calories. I also spent a lot of time refining my luxe holiday gift guide! If you read my fashion blog or follow me on Facebook, Twitter, and G+, then you already know that I published my first ever. It was particularly fun because I included fabulous things I’ve not previously.

Since 2009, I’ve been doing foodie gift guides here on Flanboyant Eats. And that was my initial intention — to keep with the tradition; and honestly for lack of time to get into something more elaborate. But, I found inspiration in wanting to expand after looking at how easy (relatively) it is to publish an eBook or eMag online. My creative wheels starting spinning and I made it happen!

From fancy foodie to luxe beauty, and travel/tech finds for him and her (because you know it’s my all-time favorite thing to do; where to next is being conjured up, actually), the guide turned out to be a beautiful offering of some of my favorite things for anyone on your list. Let’s be real — I put some of these on my list! I scoured, tested, reviewed, and finally edited down to a total of 54 items in those categories. Even though some of these are on my active wish list and in the spirit of giving, for now, these goodies are wonderful crafts are perfect for the special people in your life. I call them the refined, discriminating fam or friend.

Let’s touch on the foodie options for a quick moment since we are in a food space! The items I chose are ones I’ve been hawking for a while! I already have a few and swear by, like the Fagor pressure cooker, but the one featured is a new model I’m eager to try out. But, I’m mostly dying to cuddle with the Bodum French press. Ooh, lala, ooh, lala! It’s so sexy. Drinking espresso could not be any sexier than pouring it out of this sleek machine. Do yourselves a favor and swoon over it. You may end up with yourself if you love espresso as much as I do.

There’s a bit of mystique behind this eMag I can’t wait to share with! So, so very exciting, but you’ll really have to stay tuned for evolving details. Let’s just say this about to be the biggest project I’ve committed to since launching Flanboyant Eats almost 6 years ago — an unbelievable notion but beautiful journey.
