Tina Turner Sings Sarvesham and Offers Peace

Tina Turner just got our attention all over again! The dancing rockstar with the thick legs is offering us peace in harmony. The icon has taken to lending her voice for our collective peace and calmness and we’re here for it! Though I’m personally not into meditative chanting, I have recently gotten into the practice of sitting still at random moments of the day and especially at night, right before I go to sleep. I’ve found it to be incredibly helpful. With all of life’s stressors causing unrest and anxiety, it’s a good idea to allow the mind (and heart) to rest and recenter.

In addition to whatever you do now, try incorporating Tina’s version of Sarvesham, a Sanskrit mantra sung for calmness, harmony, and peace. Watch the video and enjoy the children’s choir backing her up, which just adds to the peaceful imagery we could use.
